I help established business owners make clearer decisions and see those decisions reflected in profit.
After 25 years building, scaling, and selling my own business, I now work alongside owners who've proven their concept and are ready to grow with intention, not just effort.

From corporate to bakery - and everything in between
Over the next 20 years I experienced the full weight of ownership: cash flow pressure that kept me up at night, pricing decisions that cost me more than I realized, hiring calls that I got wrong before I got right, and the risk and reward of expanding into a national franchise, which I ultimately sold for a profit in 2018.
What I learned during that season was about the real levers of profitability, about what to prioritize and what to let go of is what shapes every conversation I have with clients today.

I don't come in with a framework and apply it across the board. I look at what's actually happening in your business, where profit is leaking, where decisions are stalling, where the work you're putting in isn't yet producing the return it should.
I ask the questions that help you see what you may be too close to notice.
I offer direct perspective on the decisions in front of you, pricing, hiring, positioning, profitability, and I stay in it with you until the work is reflected in real results.
I also bring a strong network. Over 25 years I've built relationships with advisors, operators, and specialists across finance, legal, marketing, health and wellness and more, and I connect clients to exactly the right people at exactly the right time.
What this looks like in practice

My husband Brian and I are college sweethearts. We've built a family of three children, welcomed two sons-in-law and multiple grandchildren, and share our home with golden retrievers who require a lot of attention.
We're an active family, downhill skiing, boating, pickleball, hiking, golf, and competitive card games that get more intense than they probably should.
My favorite thinking happens at our family cottage on the lake, which is where the name Next Wave Business Coaching was born, and where I still go to get quiet enough to see clearly.
A good conversation over coffee or wine (with a cookie nearby) is my version of a reset. If that sounds like your kind of meeting, we'll get along just fine.
Cheering you on,
Jen
