speaking to create action

I am part of a monthly book club, a group of women that meet on the last Thursday of the month, we eat, drink wine, and yes much to our husband’s disbelief we talk about the book. Our book club format is we take turns hosting at our home and if you host you choose the book.
The pressure to choose…
No one wants to choose a book that is a dud, or a book where the questions attract only crickets, a book where we are falling asleep in the middle, or worse yet, one where you skim the pages and hope this book will soon end.
Instead, we want a book that is a page turner, where we can’t wait to read more, promotes a lively Q & A discussion, and leaves us talking about the book to any and everyone we know.
It’s much like choosing a speaker for your event. The pressure is real to deliver.

Presentation Topics
How to attract and retain today’s employees
- Understanding what today’s employees really desire
- How to attract the right employees for your business and how to craft your job posting and messaging that appeals to the best candidates.
It is time for small businesses to make a shift in their hiring process that will not only fill vacancies, improve retention but also allow you to build a business that gives you flexibility and freedom.
Keys to creating boundaries to increase productivity and joy in your business life
Work-life balance is impossible to achieve for small business owners, work is your life, life is your work. We know that 50% of small businesses will fail in the first five years and one reason is due to burnout and quitting.
Instead of chasing the elusive work-life balance, let’s instead learn how to create boundaries that will increase your productivity, joy and help you avoid burnout with these 3 steps to start implementing in your life. Give yourself permission to build the business you want and the freedom and flexibility you desire.
Align your mindset for business success
You can have the best strategies, plans, goals but without a clear mindset and daily habits it will be hard to achieve the success you desire. Let’s dive into the mindset beliefs that hold us back and more importantly how we can start changing the narrative and the way we talk to ourselves. Your clients need you; your family needs you, your business needs you to show up and persevere, don’t let your mindset limit what you can achieve.
How experience is the new metric
“The customer is always right” was the mantra for years that drove customer service best practices and trainings. In today’s business, service is being changed to creating an experience. What does it really mean to create a customer experience, why is this so important to grow your business and how you can start to incorporate an experience as part of your daily strategies to grow your business?
Virtual Webinars via Zoom, Training Classes, In-Person Speaking Events, and Podcast Guest
Perfect for a group of entrepreneurs, small business owners, chamber of commerce events, business associations, industry groups, women groups, networking groups, business schools, any place that a group of small business owners gather is my perfect audience
I love a good motivational speech, but I also know that in about 48 hours I am going to go back to my old ways and lose the enthusiasm. Small business owners need solutions; they don’t have time to search them out for themselves. I believe in not only motivating, but engaging the audience to visualize the outcome. I give them real world action steps that they can take back and be excited to implement is the key to a successful presentation for busy entrepreneurs.
